This series of three interactive webinars, each discussing what foundations are doing to incorporate equity internally, will allow members of NCFP’s Non-Family Staff Peer Network to explore ways family foundations are making equity a part of their day-to-day operations, and how to overcome barriers to doing so. We’ll also discuss how equity can help family foundations define and enhance their efforts at transparency. Each webinar will be led and facilitated by Kris Putnam-Walkerly, global philanthropy advisor, focusing on a key finding from her recent field scan, “The Road to Achieving Equity,” conducted on behalf of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. Discussions will focus on topics such as defining equity, engaging board members, and operationalizing equity.
